Boone Pickens listed his 100-square-mile ranch in the Texas Panhandle, northeast of Amarillo, for $250 million.  Pickens, 89, has had a long, successful career in business and is currently the chairman of BP Capital Management (which he founded), so it's no surprise that he owns such an expansive spread. There are some features of Mesa Vista Ranch, however, that make it truly unique. We've rounded up the most interesting facts about it here. The ranch has increased by 22 times its original size since then. Mesa Vista Ranch covers some 64,800 acres now. And now, there are a number of different structures: the 12,000-square-foot lake house, the 33,000-square-foot lodge, the 6,000-square-foot family house, the 1,700-square-foot gatehouse, the 1,600-square-foot pub, and the 11,000-square-foot kennel.
