Apple's top lawyer had his iPad malfunction while testifying in front of Congress by Kif Leswing on Mar 1, 2016, 4:50 PM Advertisement
Apple's top lawyer, Bruce Sewell, successfully testified in front of Congress on Tuesday, but he had a few technical issues with his iPad. While reading his prepared statement there appeared to be an issue with Sewell's iPad Pro, and he was forced to read the remainder of his statement off a three-ring binder. Sewell testified before Congress about a recent court order forcing Apple to help the FBI hack a terrorist's iPhone. Apple promotes its the iPad Pro, the most expensive iPad, as a device to "be more creative and more productive," with high-powered executives like Sewell firmly in the product's target market. Instead of an iPad malfunction, Sewell might have a 1-minute lockscreen timer on his iPad, and a long passcode, some Apple fans on social media speculated. Here's a GIF of the exact moment Sewell switched to paper: |
