Apple's new tear-jerking ad shows an autistic boy using an iPad to speak by Julie Bort on Apr 2, 2016, 9:45 AM April 2 is Autism Awareness Day and Apple is doing its part with this tear-jerking ad about about a boy named Dillon usng the iPad to communicate with people. "All my life I wanted so badly to connect with people. But they couldn't understand because I had no way to communicate," the iPad's robotic voice says, reading Dillon's typed words. "So many people can't understand that I have a mind. All they see is a person who is not in control. But now you can hear me. The iPad helps me to see not only my words, but to hold onto my thoughts," he writes.
