There isn't any lava beneath Mount St. Helens — here's where scientists think it comes from

Scientists are baffled as to where Mount St. Helens gets its lava from. Though the volcano is part of a cluster of volcanoes known as the North American Cascade Arc, it doesn't sit atop a magma chamber.
