| UPDATES REVIEW In Update v8.5, we added a new camera mode - Top down view (orthographic). This keeps the camera locked in place and is great for games that require more of a top down view or for placing down and aligning objects perfectly. We also revamped ALT Zoom so everything is perfectly flat and readable at any angle and so you can now see objects as they are supposed to be seen. This also works on animated objects and the 3D UI. In Update v8.6, we added the free expansion Invaders from Afar to the Scythe DLC. And with this addition, we took advantage of improving Scythe in general, by changing it to use AssetBundles and some scripting elements were also added. The scripting addition also replaces the old method of combat power revelation that many weren't fond of. We didn't want to neglect our Scripting and VR users, so we made sure to include some improvements to both of these as well. Thanks for your patience, much more to come! In Update v8.7, we released the DLC, Scuttle! by Jelly Bean Games. It's a simple card game with a pirate theme and is great for the whole family ages 6 and up. We really fixed up our Gizmo tools which needed some love and we're very happy with how it's come out. Previously you were just able to move and rotate, now you can do both of those, but also scale, volume scale and input your own values with the Transform menu. And not just that, but you can also use the Gizmo Tools to modify the Zones & Text Tool, this is especially useful for the Hidden Zones. You can read more about the Gizmo Tool in our Knowledge Base. In Update v8.8, Warfighter by Dan Verssen Games finally arrived in Tabletop Simulator as DLC. This is a jam packed DLC which includes expansions #1-9. We also added the ability for you to create folders and sub-folders in both the Workshop and Saved Games. Update v8.9 brought in Xia:Legends of a Drift System by Far Off Games. This is our most involved DLC in that it has a lot of scripted elements and assetbundles with particle effects, animations and sounds. The 5th expansion to Cosmic Encounter - Dominion has also been added, which brings in even more fun to an already exciting game. Update v9.0 was a big one in that we added 64 bit support! Linux and Mac are fully 64-bit while Windows offers both 32-bit and 64-bit support. In addition, our latest DLC, Indonesia by Splotter Spellen was added to Tabletop Simulator! Decals have come to Tabletop Simulator in Update v9.1! You can add decals to any object, even cards! And the next DLC added to the TTS family was In the Name of Odin by NSKN Games! And in our latest Update v9.2, we've added in our first bi-lingual DLC, Khronos Hunter by Sorisuto, which is in both English and Japanese. We also overhauled the Grid Tool, really adding some great new additions. The grid also projections onto the surface now instead of hovering as before, you can make the grid lines thin or thick, change the opacity and also the color. There's still a lot more to come. We're really hoping to get all of our existing tools up to par just like we did for the Gizmo Tool, so stay tuned! |
