According to the Washington Post, the Cases are not the first notable figures to have owned the estate, which dates back to 1919. Dubbed Merrywood, it was also the childhood home of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis.  In addition to sweeping views of the Potomac River, Merrywood has nine bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, and some 23,000 square feet of space.  Case is also the CEO of the VC firm Revolution. It offers sweeping views of the Potomac River. The home has four floors of living space, which can be accessed via this staircase or by elevator.
