According to the pitch deck that was published by Ad Age in October 2019, TikTok has at least 30 million MAUs in the US. The timeframe for this particular datapoint is unclear, but the deck is dated June 2019.

Though TikTok doesn't disclose usage datapoints publicly and it declined to confirm the accuracy of what was in the deck, we're citing these stats because they provide valuable information from within the company, and because they serve as a comparison to other data from third-party research sources.
  • Mobile analytics firm App Annie said in data provided to us that TikTok had more than 16 million US smartphone MAUs in August 2019.
  • According to Comscore data provided to us, TikTok had 17.6 million US mobile unique visitors ages 18 and older in August 2019, a 135% increase from August 2018.
