There are some amazing flight deals from the US to Rome, but you have to act quickly! by David Slotnick on Jan 9, 2018, 11:44 AM The Insider Picks team writes about stuff we think you'll like. One of the best deals I've seen on flight deals to Rome is available right now for travel in the next few months. Hurry, though: Fares like this tend to get snatched up quickly and likely won't be around for long. Your best bet would be to book as soon as you find dates at the right price, before someone else gets those fares for that day. Prices/Availability At the time of publication, flights are available from New York City (JFK and Newark), Los Angeles, and San Francisco. However, if you live elsewhere, consider looking for a cheap positioning flight to one of these cities in order to take advantage of the sale. Prices are as low as $299, ranging up through the high-$300s and low-$400s for the West Coast. The flights are operated by any of a few airlines, including Norwegian, United, Delta, and Italian carrier Alitalia. Normally for this time of year, flights in the $500s–$600s would be considered an "everyday" low price, while flights could range through the $800s. Dates Flight availability varies by origin city, but is generally from January–April, 2018. A few examples available at publication flights from New York from February 5–16 for $299, Los Angeles from February 3–12 for $373, and San Francisco from February 20–March 3 for $383. Booking To get the best prices, click the link here or below to visit the online travel-booking site Momondo. Then, enter your nearest major airport and adjust the dates as needed to find the right prices, then click the link to book through the portal showing the best price. Keep in mind that I was only able to pull up these prices by searching Momondo, which is my go-to site for flight discounts. I wasn't necessarily able to find the same prices directly with the airlines or through other tools like Google Flights and Priceline. Good luck and happy travels!
