Some actors really do seem born to play certain roles. In the case of "Game of Thrones," just about every actor appears molded to his or her respective character. Can anyone brood better than Kit Harington? Could anyone else capture the range of emotions Tyrion has experienced in six seasons like Peter Dinklage? Watching the audition tapes that have leaked online, it's clear that these actors would land their "Game of Thrones" jobs because their portrayals were so instinctive. Turner immediately captured young Sansa's obsession with a privileged life (oh, how things have changed for her), and it's fun to see Williams' Arya only have to worry about mocking Sansa and not completing her hit list. Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen): Khaleesi recalled her audition on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" and how she did a dance mix of the "funky chicken" and the robot out of nerves. "Game of Thrones" released a supercut of the audition tapes of some of the show's favorites, including Gwendoline Christie (Brienne of Tarth) crushing the patriarchy, Rose Leslie (Ygritte) uttering her most famous line, Natalie Dormer (Margaery Tyrell) getting seductive, and Kristofer Hivju (Tormund Giantsbane) perfectly capturing his Wildling spirit.
