Good morning! Here's the technology news you need to know this Tuesday morning.

1. Peter Thiel says he isn't the only Silicon Valley insider supporting Trump. The billionaire tech investor gave a speech on Monday at the National Press Club in which he discussed his political values and support of the Trump campaign.

2. BMW will reportedly release an electric SUV in 2021. Automobile Mag first reported in August that BMW was working on Project iNext.

3. Apple is killing off its iconic startup chime. It's removing the distinctive noise that Macs make when they boot up.

4. Martin Sorrell says WPP will spend $5 billion (£4 billion) with Google this year — and they're better to deal with than Facebook. Sorrell said that "Google search and YouTube video continue to be very powerful mediums, particularly in high-penetration TV markets."

5. Delivery startup Postmates has raised $141 million (£115 million) in new funding. CEO Bastian Lehmann said the raise was "super, super difficult".

6. Britain's first self-driving cars will be unmarked so aggressive drivers don't bully them. Volvo is planning a pilot project in 2018 that will lease vehicles to regular Brits that are capable of driving autonomously.

7. Prince William is expected to hold talks with Facebook and Apple about online trolling. The Duke of Cambridge launched a taskforce earlier this year to tackle online bullying.

8. A study found that Uber drivers are more likely to cancel on men with "black-sounding" names. Discrimination against African Americans is a common occurrence among ride-hailing services like Uber and Lyft.

9. Airbnb is in talks with New York state to resolve its lawsuit over a new rental law. The company is fighting battles in New York and San Francisco.

10. Video game "Battlefield 1" has come under fire for its marketing campaign. The game's publisher apologized for any offense caused by its ads.
