Meticulously refurbished on the outside and completely recreated on the inside, the 9,095-square-foot home is a rare mix of modern luxury and historical character. The building was originally built in 1901 for wealthy fish-packing mogul James Madison (no, not the president). Its outdoor facade was completely restored to its original Beaux-Arts beauty. The top-to-bottom restoration of the property took two years to complete.
