There's a math exhibit where people can smoothly ride a tricycle with square wheels

by Jacob Shamsian and Jeremy Dreyfuss on Mar 31, 2016, 10:02 AM

The Math Midway traveling exhibit made tricycles with square wheels. They're designed so you can ride them smoothly on a petal-shaped floor. Because the floor uses catenary curves, it feels like riding on a bike with circular wheels on a flat surface.
