The controversial photo showed Griffin holding a gory, Trump-like prop head. The photo was met with widespread backlash after it was published by TMZ on Tuesday. The backlash prompted an apology from Griffin, who said she will ask the photographer from the shoot to take down the image. "I sincerely apologize," Griffin said in a video on Twitter. "I went way too far. The image is too disturbing.
