When the coin counting is concluded for the Mayweather-McGregor fight, it is expected to become the highest-grossing boxing match of all time.
A conservative estimate says Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor are expected to generate $500 million for their match that last 9.5 rounds, with 28 minutes of actual combat action. However, the fight may generate in $500 million in pay-per-view revenue in the United States alone if pre-fight estimates of 5.0 million pay-per-view buys are on target.
Amazingly, Mayweather has participated in the top four highest-grossing boxing matches of all time.
