 McDonald's announced yesterday during an investors meeting that they will be serving mozzarella sticks nationwide starting in 2016. And the internet, ever-opinionated, has plenty to say on the matter. Many are overjoyed, while others liken the announcement to a legendary American geopolitical crisis. The chain started testing them in Wisconsin over the summer, and they went over extremely well, especially for those looking for a small and quick snack. We decided to taste test this momentous addition to the Golden Arches' menu to see how the sticks stack up. You get your choice of sauce – including good old fashioned marinara.
With only three sticks per box, it's a small serving. But at $1 a box, it's not a bad deal.
They smell delicious — cheesy and fried to perfection. But then again, what fried food doesn't smell great?
