 Upon hearing word of the November 13 attacks on Paris, which killed 127 and wounded about 200 more, people and countries around the world began showing solidarity to Paris using everything from peace signs to popular hashtags. In honor of the French flag, many famous landmarks around the world were lit up in red, white, and blue. From the United States all the way to Sydney, Australia, the photos colorful photos make a strong statement of support. Here's what some of the world's most famous landmarks looked like after the attacks in Paris. As was the Senate building in Mexico City, Mexico.
The Angel of Independence monument in Mexico City was also lit up for Paris.
