Watch SpaceX land its 10th successful rocket after launching a top secret government satellite into space

by Noah Friedman and Jessica Orwig on May 1, 2017, 7:56 AM

SpaceX has successfully launched its first national security mission for the US military. Not much is known about the payload except that it's a spy satellite.

After launching the payload on Monday morning, SpaceX flew the first stage of its rocket back to a land-based site in Florida.
This marks the tenth successful rocket landing for the company, and the fourth successful landing at this particular site. Other, past, landings have taken place on SpaceX's two drone ships — one based in the Atlantic and the other in the Pacific.
